Who We Are
Welcome to the Children’s Friends website!
Children’s Friends is a non-profit organisation with a group of volunteers striving to provide a better future for the children in Sri Lanka destitute by the Asia- Tsunami of 26 December 2004. We aim to live up to our motto LIVE LEARN LEAD by assisting these children find normalcy in day to day life, vital support for their education and employment opportunities for a sustainable future.
Children’s friends carefully choose deserving recipients and projects in Sri Lanka and coordinate activities through reliable organisations based locally. We support various scholarship programs and infrastructure projects through our local partners. To date we have given hope to over 100 helpless children, who were not receiving any form of assistance through other means. The uniqueness of Children's Friends is our commitment to transfer all our donations directly to the deserving recipients, with minimal administration costs.
 We are grateful to our numerous donors from Europe, Asia and Australia who help realise the vision of Children’s Friends.
